Guess which one comes with me everywhere? It's so easy to shoot with this little pocket camera, and so guiltless. Easy to use, small and convenient. I have no issues with the image quality. Then again, I know what the high end looks like, so maybe my expectations are more reasonable. You gets what you pays for - and I like it a lot. Bad Quality The touchscreen is cool, the color is nice but the quality of the pictures is horrible. The Macro feature doesn't allow you to get close to the object. The pictures when viewed on the camera screen are grainy so I uploaded them to my computer where they were just as bad. I tried every setting, every light option...it is just an overall poor quality picture. I am trying to get rid of it for a better camera. Touchscreen is nice to have, but HORRIBLE picture quality Indoor and Outdoor pictures are very noisy/grainy. A lot of the pictures were severely out of focus (even at the point where the camera shows it focused). Outdoor performance is better than indoor, but still very poor. I bought the Canon 790IS (same price as Nikon at Costco) to do comparison shots. The 790IS outperformed the Nikon in all departments. Don't waste your money and time on Nikon s230.
